Verás enables you to share your desktop over the Lan or Internet. Getting help over the internet, have your friend run Vere, then check your email with the personal download link. Click the link to download the application, then run Veras.exe and simply click connect.

To enable your friend to have shared control of your computer make sure the "Input" box is checked. The other options can be set by your friend during the session.

Please note that when Veras ends it will prompt you to delete itself. If have been provided help from a friend across the internet, it's simply safer to delete it for piece of mind!

To Share you desktop over the LAN you can use the Auto IP Discovery feature

• Clear the Port field
• Enter password if required
• Click Connect

• Download Veo Remote Suite 1.0.8 Veré Verás Vio.

Options

Connect IP

• A connection to the same machine "127.0.0.1 : 7500"
• A connection to a machine on you lan eg: "10.1.1.6 : 7500"
• You can use auto IP discovery over the lan just blank out the port number"
• A connection to a machine over the net eg: "75.xxx.xxx.xxx : 7500"

Password

• The password for the session, Enables Encryption

Record

• Record Sessions to playback with Vio

Layered

• Enables windows animations, tool tips and layered windows to be captured

note using layered will cause the clients mouse to flicker

Input

• Enables and disables remote inputs

Color Modes

• 256 8 bit color
• 64K 16 bit color
• True color 32 bit

By default the color depth is set to 32 bit, please note that on computers with shared video memory color depth translation is a very time consuming and may result in sluggish responses. If this is the case then you will get better performance at the desktops default depth.

Connect

• Connects to the specified machine

Quit

• Terminates Session

Recording

Verás records each session if 'Record' is Checked. You can use Verás to record your desktop by running Vere on the same machine just ensure that you uncheck the Input box.

• Start Vere enter port
• Click listen, minimize to task bar
• Start Verás enter the connect IP as 127.0.0.1 : port
• click connect
• Minimize to task bar.

To retrieve a Session recording

• Start Vio
• "Right click" the session
• Choose copy
• Right click your desktop
• Choose paste

To view a session recording

• Start Vio
• Choose a session to review
• Or Double click on a session
